Tim McGraw

I have 3 more weeks of statistics left and then I am done! I have a break until August 22, then the real fun starts. 9 credits of grad school level classes. I am ready to get started, but I am dreading working every weekend and missing out on everything for another 2 years. I feel like I have already missed so much. I recently got an email from the head of the PNP program. I thought I would share what she said to me with you:" Have a good summer 'cuz it is your last vacation for about 18 months!!!"

One of my old coworkers gave me some free Tim McGraw tickets. My cousin Jill happened to be at the same concert! Karyn and I went and had such a fun weekend!!

Adam's hours are back to normal. Now he is doing the usual 40 hour work week. Hope everyone has a great week! ~Meg and Adam

Clearly he does not want me to do my Stats homework!

Now is Right on Time

I think this is a powerful message that speaks for itself. Sometimes I would feel so far behind everyone else. The last to complete every life event. This year I realized it doesn't matter. I have spent so much time worried when I would get there that I was not enjoying the life I am living. I finally came to the realization that this is not a race. I will get there when I am supposed to, and now is right on time. I could not have said it any better myself.

Maddux is turning 2

First of all our nephew used the potty 5 times already!! He's turning into such a big boy!! His 2nd birthday party is in a few weeks. I can not believe how fast he has grown!! He is getting his very first haircut today. I will be posting pictures of the party soon! We do not get to see him as often as we'd like to but we absolutely adore him!!

But here is a blast from the past!!

Live Like a Hummingbird

Here is your inspiration for the day. When I was younger we had to make a school project and my mom helped me construct my favorite bird a beautiful hummingbird full of bright colors. As I grew I always had a love for hummingbirds. A few years ago a friend sent me a card that had this beautiful quote in it. When my grandmother was sick with cancer we would send this quote back and forth. Every time I see a hummingbird I think of my wonderful Grandmother. This quote is what I try to do every day, live like a hummingbird.

"Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy, and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbirds delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation" Papyrus
