Lessons

Lessons I’ve learned

· Do not be in a rush to get to where you want to be. Enjoy where you are now, you will get there when it is time.
· You can talk to your mom about anything and she will always know the right answer
· Your parents will catch you sneaking out, drinking, or doing whatever it is you are not suppose to be doing
· Family comes first and no one’s family is perfect.
· Forgiveness is difficult but it is a necessary for survival of friendships, families, and relationships
· People do mean things
· Be happy with who you are
· Always exercise, even 2 weeks off makes it hard to start again
· Full time grad school is no joke
· You always miss people when they pass away. It doesn’t always hurt, and you cry less and less, but you will always miss them.
· Cats will wake up in the middle of the night and knock everything off any counter and dresser, they will also expect you to wake up at 4 am and play. They do not care if you have to work in the morning.
· People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone ~Audrey Hepburn
· Never give up hope. Even doctors don’t know what will happen; I see miracles all of the time!!
· Life always brings unexpected surprises just when it is needed!!
· My husband is my best friend
· Lists ard and goals are necessary for survival, crossing them off as they get done is the best part
· Not everyone that is your life has good intentions so tread cautiously with the information you give them.
· Be grateful for every day!!
· Never pierce your belly button with a safety pin because your mom will make you take it out and get a tetanus shot
· If your friends are coloring your hair fire engine red, make sure you have enough bottles of color and the supply shop is not closed the next day
· If you are driving your husband’s car do not knock the mirror off with the garbage can or accidently leave it on and drain the battery
· Always drive slow through a subdivision with children
· You cannot save every one or everything. Just because you feel bad for the kitten on the side of the road does not mean you can keep it!
· If you have a bad feeling about something, you are probably right

Well I am in full swing of Sat,Sun,Mon schedule. That means I am off for four days in a row. People that work M-F can't say that. It's not so bad. The weekends are pretty calm. Today is my "Sunday" I have been working on homework. What gets me though the day? Hot Tamales!!

This weeks updates:
Beth Zakrzewski is getting married in 8 days!!

Jimmy Bukur is getting married in almost 3 weeks!! Mallory will be home!!

I have my first midterm next week. :(

Maybe I should skip the homework and go get a tan with this dude in the WalMart parking lot??

Happy Weekend!!

I LOVE FALL!!

I am having a bit of a post blow up today. It is so hard to get caught up when you have not posted for a month. So here is my last October 1st post!! My sister in law Beth is getting married in Jamaica in 13 days. My sister in law Katy is about 13 weeks pregnant and she gets to find out what she is having next month. Very exciting. That is it on the news front for our family for October.

I had a girls night at Circle Center Mall and Kilroy's last Wednesday!!
Here is a pic and my 2 friends Ally and Ellen:

Couples bowling night!! My high score was 63!! Go me!! Good thing I am a nurse and not a professional bowler!!

Project Fall!!

Hello October!! Even though I am working full time and going to school full time I thought it would be great to take on some projects for all of the baby showers I have coming up. I think everyone loves a homemade gift and my grandma gave me the creative gene, so why not? Well I went home with 16 burp cloths cut out and thought my mom and I could play dual of the sewing machines and tackle burp cloth mania together. I will admit it seemed like another paper pomander idea (for those of you that do not know I thought it would be so great and cost effective if I made 36 tissue paper pomander balls for my wedding each one took about 4 hours mom, Adam, and Mal all pitched in and constantly reminded me of how much fun it was to make them).
The burp cloth fiasco turned out to be super easy and fun! I even bought some more material for my next batch. I am starting getting more creative with the headbands I have been making. Here are the pictures of the adventure:

Next batch:
Here are some of the newer headbands I have been making
This one was for one of my friends little girls for a wedding!!

I ran across this when searching for inspiration. Thought this baby and her headband were so cute!!

Val, Noelle, and I took a trip to Stoney Creek Farms in Noblesville to see if the Pumpkin Patch was open. We met a friendly turkey.

First Bears game of the season at our house!! Look at the little cheerleader Noelle!
